[“satisfaction”]

A while ago, I was acquainted with a song. It’s tempo and techno beat were pretty cool, and it was altogether catchy, but the lyrics were what hit me–“Push me. And then just touch me. ‘Til I can get my Satisfaction.” And that was all the song said, repeating the words over and over, occasionally repeating certain words, but the whole focus, and the title of the song, was “Satisfaction.” and that got me thinking–there are so many girls, boys, and even adults searching for the perfect satisfaction, when it’s right in front of their eyes. Some end up resulting to drugs and alcohol, but a lot result to the touch and love of someone of the opposite sex. But the true satisfaction is completely in the love of Jesus–not in the love of man.
So today try and think about that–where is your true satisfaction?
